How are people getting insured?!?!?

Going to ring Adrian flux. Think my wife may hav been insured on the FTO in the last 2 years. Going to be close though.

can you not just tell them youve had the car for a year? or can they check.

We got stung in the same way, not having owned a car of the same power previously or owning the wrx for a year, our first year insurance is high. Will drop come renewal time next month though.

Sounds like its a lack of no claims discount on a performance car thats the problem?

Im insured with Gary at Keith Michaels for my RB5 at £525 all mods declared with 11+ years ncd and he duplicated my bonus when I insured my Focus RS 350 for £775

Ive no idea why insurance companies assume cos Im getting older Im getting any more sensible lol

I was insured with them on my cav turbo then when i got the scoob they wouldn't even give me a quote as the said they couldn't compete with other companys
