ok lads so im gettin a front mount off baldy now im still running stock td05 pushing the boost to limiter at 1.1 bar, soon to have aftermarket filter with cold air feed from bumper. Also in next few weeks will be have one of my ecus chipped to see the different and decide weather to keep it in or go bak to normal.

Is there any point me fitting it yet or should i wait till i upgrade the turbo to 18g jobby.
Also whats the standard internals good for as im not ready to shell out for a rebuild just yet .

Cheeers

standard internals should be fine with a 18g on Wink

when you say chipping ?

whats your plan there?

esl live mapping? or just fitting a chip and hoping for the best?

if fitting a chip, internals could go at anytime IMO. (normal melted piston)
