Fair enough bout the location - just thought to maximise the donations we need to have 'passing trade' and not just club members.

I was also thinking about writing to a few local Companies and asking for their support by donating a prize for a raffle - a good prize and we could be persuaded to wear a tee-shirt with their logo on for the day etc etc.

sounds like an excellent idea. all i can say is get writing. any companys inparticular you were thinking of.

some quality ideas on the posts....looks like a crackin event...hopefully can help as much as poss..got lots of time on me hands atm....lol..thanks everyone a very worthy cause and support from nesf ......keith

sent some emails and made some calls to try and sort a venue but it seems people are incapable of returning calls or replying to emails, you would think they don't want more business.

Benn very busy at work th e last few days but i'm on holiday next week so hopefully get something sorted.

I might end up driving around a few places and beast them in person.
