Hesitation and lack of power Empty
PostSubject: Hesitation and lack of power   Hesitation and lack of power EmptySun 24 Jul - 16:27

The last two days when driving my car from cold it has had hesitation and a bit of a misfire I only happens on accerlation it doesn't have to be hard acceleration but the more i throttle the worse it gets.

It only does it for the first 5 minutes or so then drive fine.

Any ideas what the cause could be. As it clears pretty quick it's not a huge issue at the minute but these things have a habbit of getting worse.

Plugs?
Lambda sensor? They have their own elements to heat them but maybe faulty and exhaust gas heating it up.
Not sure if it could also be the air temp sensor in the MAF giving a wrong or fixed reading?

You got any CEL codes?

no lights coming on.

lamba sensor was my thought. I am goig to try and get the plugs changed some time this week so that will rule them out.
