| ya need:- box cradle gearchange prop 6sp clutch n flywheel (ya can use the 5sp if ya want)but the 6sp's got more clamping power
poss diff depending wot ratio box ya get
just done it on my wagon | |

| phil ya need box , prop, cradle, selector and rear diff,type r has lsd r180 rear diff too but of ratio 4.44 so no gd, wats good about a type r is the sti 6speed rear diff fits type r shafts, all (R180 STUFF) | |

| does the centre diff have to be changed? Or can you use the centre diff of the type r and just bolt the 6 speed straight on? | |

| centre diff is part of the gearbox, it could be fitted to another 5 speed 4 bolt box but not a 6speed, 6 speed is about 1.5 times size of a 5 spd | |
