ya need:-
box
cradle
gearchange
prop
6sp clutch n flywheel (ya can use the 5sp if ya want)but the 6sp's got more clamping power

poss diff depending wot ratio box ya get


just done it on my wagon

phil ya need box , prop, cradle, selector and rear diff,type r has lsd r180 rear diff too but of ratio 4.44 so no gd, wats good about a type r is the sti 6speed rear diff fits type r shafts, all (R180 STUFF) Smile

does the centre diff have to be changed? Or can you use the centre diff of the type r and just bolt the 6 speed straight on?

centre diff is part of the gearbox, it could be fitted to another 5 speed 4 bolt box but not a 6speed, 6 speed is about 1.5 times size of a 5 spd
