Yes it is possible BUT Subaru turbocharged engines just don't like LPG, there have been lots of failures (mainly piston failure) due to LPG running hotter than standard petrol

The extra in cylinder heat causes the pistons to swell and break the ring lands (same as running too lean on petrol)

It might be worth speaking to CLS at Meadowfield (Tel:- 0800 0612277) as they do a system specially designed for Subarus, they have been running a Bugeye WRX test car for 18 Months with no problems, it automatically switches from petrol to LPG.

I was going to get it fitted to my car last year, its only when I mentioned what power my car was running they said they couldnt fit it. The kit I was going to get £2200+vat.

Subaru suggest that you shouldnt run lpg on their 4cylinder boxer engines but its ok on the 6cylinder engines. Except for the Tribeca for some unknown reason :-S

Dont waste your money on an lpg conversion... They are shite and cost more in the long run to fix. Cylinder heads arnt strong enough for it either and need the valve clearances reset more regular not even the flash lube kit can stop this. Subaru did trial the lpg conversions on some cars then quickly stopped doing it after they were knackering engines on piece.

The only one to date we have out on lpg that hasn't been much trouble is a 3.0 tribeca 98,000 miles on an 08 plate, its had a replacement donut tank fitted as the valve seized up in it
