Secondary air pump

Chaps, typically, about a month after I asked drew what this strange part I didn't recognise in the engine bay...it goes wrong!

I get a p1410 code showing which apparently means valve stuck open in the secondary air pump system.

So any suggestions? Which fuses relate to this? There is one labeled for it but one for emissions too?

Other option bin the system??

Ps. I'm I ok driving the car as normal with this fault showing?

If you wanted to bin the system, drew can remove it for you but you will need blank the holes in the head using these-

You will also need the fault codes switching off, sure Duncan (dynamix) can do that for you.

You know you love the challenge of turning my various engine management lights off!

speak to Andy Kindon I got my blanks for about £20, and Andy fitted them and removed the system you will need it switching off on the ecu.

I know the ecutek can do it so I am sure the open source software will be able.
