tellin guy at work bout avin mine dun and he sed it adds bhp ? if so do i need tweak or map t compensate this ?

woulnt say bhp it raised tht torque on mine and the turbo spooles a lot better Cool mine were fitted before map.

I would say anything that alters the induction system or increases flow would then need a remap, just to be on the safe side.

I changed my up pipe to a one which increased spool up and was told by a expert that I didnt need a remap, 3 months later I popped a piston as the car was running to lean.

Didnt put mine on till the day before the map, as Iddy said, anything that increases the air flow / spool up etc prompted me to act on the side of caution. Once mapped in there was a noticeable difference in the car. One of the best most cost effective mods Ive done. Hats off to Finn who provided the service.

had a new wrapped up pipe put on b4 a got it off anth2009 and just got headers dun on satda by finn so dunno wot t do for the best Question

Finn done mine Better sound and ttorque faster spool up 1st class mod I would get you map tweek mate to be safe

Hi guys,
I have uk turbo classic 98 decat,straight
Through 2.5 in pipe to 3in. Just bought
Jap speed up pipe and want headers ported
Td04 turbo. Would I have to get this mapped
Once all fitted. As spoke to Dicca and his has
Up pipe and ported headers and not mapped. scratch

IMO ported headers will be fine without a map tweak.

just fitted some to my bug sti last week :-))
