Subject: Vinyl graphics Sat 7 Apr - 21:00
When polishing cars with vinyl graphics and wraps do you polish the whole car or just do the painted bits and try to miss the graphics and what's the best way of cleaning the graphics and vinyl, and is there any do's and dont's when cleaning vinyl and graphics

when i had mine on i just polished whole thing didnt do any harm was goin to machine polish but that was one risk i didnt want to take but normal hand polishing no problems

I've just waxed my car and went straight over my graphics with no problems at all
I used colignite 915 as recommended by Jonny Gav

very nice job that how much is the wax and how long did it take u to do do u put it on and take it off same as polish?

I got the wax off the bay, cost me bout £20 but well worth it, I just took my time doing it but you could probs do whole car in a couple of hours! Yeah you just put it on and buff it off like polish!

You can machine polish over Viynl. Buy you must use a soft foam waffle pad on very low speed on he polishing machine. That's if you have one that is. I have done a few cars at my workshop that way and have had no problems at all . I use auto glym and maguiers body wax and polish. Smartech body repairs. 07790441334.
