having a little read up on the 2.1 strokers and just wondering what all your veiws are. if it actually worth it. the power im after is only 400 as the car will be used alot on the road and in my eyes sumthing with like 500 bhp or the likes would be just a knightmare to drive sensibly.#
now i can acheive the 400 im after with a 2l as it will be a forged cdb with supporting mods and a apexi ecu mapped by one of the forums recomended guys most likly andy forrest. i know drew has one or had one not sure what beast hes got in the wagon now lol.

so guys what are your veiws on the 2l vs the 2.1 stroker

Don't think Drews ever ran 2.1 in the wagon. If 400 is you final goal, 2.0 will be fine with the correct supporting mods, it won't be cheap though once you figure in.

Forged block
injectors
uprated pump
turbo
ecu + map
Some decent brakes
Just for starters.

My opinions is save up & by a car already done, it would work out alot cheaper.

Yeah mate got the prices allready for varios bits its more along the lines of having it built from ground up not just going out buying one its come so far up to now from a shell up just about to start the engine itl be a long progress but itl get there mark. Having my turbo possibly converted to a 20g unit got the cdb ready in the pipeline so next is pistons rods and the rest mate

Yes it would be soooo much easier to buy someones work but wheres the fun in that
