Start car up and all u can here is water running around te engine is that normal never really heard it before ??

sounds lyk youve got an air lock! do the heaters blow warm?

Agree, you need to check your water level straight away, get trev to sort the air lock out ASAP.

phil just keep making sure expansion tank topped up,and it stops done it for a year or so we asked finn and drew on here about it they said its ok,never caused a problem,but maybe their could just be an airlock somewhere.

Did you get water issue fixed? Not sure if it will help I had a Astra that did that thought it was air lock but ended up needing a head gasket. Did it for about a year then gave up, found that some of the water ways had corroded up. Just a thought.

Mine stopped only did it since in put a new rad on put it on filled it all up couple of days later got the noise so filled rad a touch filled expansion tank a touch started it put cap on and it's been fine
