Yes, to get the best results from any mods it should be mapped.
I fitted ported headers on the hawk and it constantly fired up the EML until i had it mapped.
If its a few weeks till u fit and map then a bluetooth reader from ebay, £13 and download torque app for android,its free and clears the codes etc.

Finn has a mapping day soon and then another in November .. if you bought it you could hold off fitting til you can get it mapped .. have a box of tricks like DISCODAZ has HIDING his goodies from his better half lol

so is it just headers that it would be needing map for or front mount too or would it be best to go for new age sti top mount if they fit . Lol i dont think the wife will be buyin me now t lol cos already spent a fortune on gettin the box and clutch done . I dont have android phone lol not modern me that is lol
