| Hello everyone. I just came across this site and as a northeast subaru driver i felt i had to join. Here is my baby. An imported MY97 STI  I have a few plans for her nothing major, no million horsepower engine conversions, just some subtle body mods and a few bits in side. I am currently building/installing my sound system. So anyway thats me and my car saying hello. | |

Plans are lower it. that will be next month modify the front bumper. i dont like how it looks. maybe after market side skirts, not sure yet. possibly a bigger bonnet scoop. Thats about it for the exterior. Inside move the boost gauge finish ice install Engine wise nothing more than a good major service Mechanically drivetrain/ suspension removed clean and painted. With the little amount of time i get to work on the car that list will keep me going for a while | |

| Front bumper either fit a diff splitter or face lift bumper and splitter look so much better Don't fit a big scoop you'll regret it, bonnet lift/shake at 100 isn't nice and thats a normal scoop, will be worse with big scoop  Skirts get the extenders/caps that fit to the front of skirt and rear bumper, then fit some mud flaps, changes the look altogether | |

| The face lift bumper is much better looking, but i will be modding mine slightly to make it look a bit more unique.
I wouldn't know about bonnet lift at 100mph seen as the roads in this country have a maximum speed limit of 70mph. Did i mention i work in the traffic division of northumbria police.
That last bit wasn't quite true, in fact it was a complete lie. I can see how the big scoop would flap around at that speed as you say the standard one moves a bit. I just think they look better, more aggressive. | |
