Hi all ,this is a strange one when driving my car around the streets the temp gauge reads fine about 1/3 the way up but as soon as i go onto an open road eg A66 at an average speed 50ish or over my temp gauge goes right down to the white line ,but then back up when driving normal any ideas anyone Crying or Very sad

Sounds lyk the thermo stat is stuck open! Does the car take along time to warm up from cold?

as said above, possiby air lock, in the morning before you start it up, check the water level in the header tank, if its low topup it up,
then start it up with the header tank cap still off.

if water drops, top it up, and keep topping it up, when it starts gettin warm the water will start coming out ov header tank.
at this point put the header tank cap on..

and see how it goes after that Wink
