Subject: Brake light failure Sat 16 Feb - 3:01
Both brake lights on my blobeye not working,I've checked fuse and bulbs and they are ok,,any ideas to what the problem could be,just seems a bit strange why the both gone at the same time

Could be the switch on the brake pedal as I think that is what usually causes this problem on most cars.

No not winding you up, I was under the impression that their is normally some sort of micro switch on brake pedal which controls the brake lights going on and off, but I might be wrong.

Is the high level stop light working if so it's bulb fault,

Brake light in spoiler has got the cover over it so don't think it has 1 drew

Unplug the brake pedal switch ( it's just above the pedal rubber 2 wire connector ) get a bit of wire bare both ends and push each end into the 2 connectors on the switch connector if the stop lights work the switch is foobared
