We were emailing this lad on eBay lastnight it was imported and registered as what it says it is and yes he been paying 22b insurance the bellend

What? So he actually thought it was a Ltd Edition 4 door 22b and didn't know that it was just a normal v2 impreza

Nothing wrong at all with a v2 if you are paying v2 insurance prices, but if you have a v2 and are paying rare 22b insurance prices then your labelled a bell end
