| So have you to get ur plate changed, take it to an MOT station and get a slip for them to prove its been done? |

| The front 1 fell off, i srove over it and smashed it in half, i have it displayed on windscreen but it wasnt good enough. I went past the copper and he glanced at me, i carried on then bang, there he was up my gearbox lol. Canny copper tho. Got to get it stamped by MOT tester and take it into cop shop. Thing is tho, a reg needs to be displayed at 90 degrees, i want it below the rad. So im going to have to put it above the rad instead of below it. Ill have 2 holes in my front bumper now. Got new plates coming hopefully tuesday | |

Why do you say they need to be displayed at 90 degrees, thought you were even allowed to put the sticker type on the very front of the bonnet. Surely some of the super cars that have very narrow sloping fronts won't have them displayed at 90 degrees. | |

| Thats what to cop said, they have to be displayed at 90 degrees. I asked if i could put it below the radiator and he took a look and said its less than 90 so no. If reg plate was on before it came off he wouldn't off pulled me. He didnt bat an eye lid when a bike went past at over a 100mph, plus his anpr cam picked up a silver van. | |

| Ill put it at 90 til i get out of test centre then move it back to where it was. Yea baldy he was a canny copper. First time iv been in a BMW squad car aswel. I thort aslong as the plate is displayed in a suitable place it wasnt a problem | |
