Ok so I have a tiny tiny little tappy noise coming from my top end nothing unusual its hardly noticeable at all but its there and I'm thinking it must be wanting some fresh oil putting in. I'm thinking about getting some 10/50 millers nanodrive ( or just the normal one depending on how tight im feeling tommorow) whacked in it tomorrow but I can't find anywhere that sells the " better " black oil filters.. Is there much difference between the blue and the black ones ??
I can get a non Subaru branded one for about a fiver but think that may be a bad idea or is it ??
Is the oil filter really that important when you have possibly the best oil you can get in the engine anyway ??
Not interested in getting into an oil grade debate as I'm putting 10/50 in it and my decision is final

You may aswell just go to the Subaru dealers on the a66 down at Middlesbrough and get a genuine Subaru filter! Rather than goin all the way to import

I actually have a friend who works there trev but they only stock the blue filters. That's why I was asking if the black ones where better because I seem to remember reading they are much better somewhere

Nah John I'm happy with my black oil filter I did read some info on them on Scoobynet earlier on but it was way way too technical for me to remember any of it lol.
And Mario I won't be lying under any car that will be a job for someone else. The pink whiteline anti roll bar costs an extra £50 WTF !!!!
