Loui I was thinking about your up pipe situation as you where after a Harvey trick up pipe. Alyn at AS Performance will be back open on the 8th (your mapping day )so maybe you could pop in and collect one on your way up to kindons place and ask him if he can fit it before you get your car mapped. AS Performance is in Birtley just off the A1 so its more or less on your way and he will deffo have one in stock for you.. You would probably need to swap mapping slots to a later time to give Andy time to get it fitted but it would be worth it

Oh yea lmfao you have a month durrr.. I'm not sure how much Alyn sells them for but I got mine direct off Harvey and he sold it to me for £100 he said he knocked some money off because I had to stand and listen to him going on and on about his regrets about what had happened between TTS,NESF,himself and Jonny Gav for over two hours...such fun

hahaa il have to see how much they are then. Not sure I will have £150 for an up pipe. Il chuck a thread out and see if any are going second hand on ScoobyNet but if not il just get an STI up pipe. What inch diameter would you say would be ideal for my mods? I think 1.75inch but struggling to find many after market ones they are all 2 inch

They are less than £150 mate deffo I wouldn't suggest anything else either Harvey up pipe or nothing lol I'm not too sure about the measurements of the Harvey pipes but they are tapered to increase spool up and they also have a slip joint to stop snapping header bolts. The guy spent about 1000000 hours getting his design right and they work extremely well for the money..

harvey's trick up-pipes are £150 or £155 - I paid £155 for mine the 3 bolt version. I have however a brand new Roger Clark Motorsport stainless steel 3 bolt Venturi up-pipe for sale as i didn't use it (used the Harvey pipe instead) which you can have for £50 cash mate - if it fits your car?

Not 100% sure but I think it has something to do with the fact that with a front mount your air filter is closer to the turbo so boost comes out of that rather than going back into your intercooler. Something like that anyway it does make a big difference tho you won't be disappointed
