I had a play with a Porsche 911 GT3 a while a go coming off a roundabout onto a duel carageway but it was raining and road was really wet, I went flying straight past him while I was pissing myself watching him in my rear view mirror struggling to get the power down and sliding sideways on the wet road, even when he seemed to get traction he still wasn't catching me at all, not as fast as they are made out to be.

All that power and no 4wd is not a good combination at all compared to us being able to get the power down in all conditions, might of been a different matter if it was dry, but still think it would be quite close

my missus once raced a porsche when the tyne tunnel on the south end had a roundabout and lights. She said he pulled up beside her, looked her up and down and laughed cos it was a woman driving....so she went for it! locked the gearbox up and took off like a scalded cat. yes she won!
(top tip...dont lend the missus your car....especially when she came back from morrisons complaining the car kept drifting sideways!)

My mates GT-R is blistering quickly, made me look like I was in the daily Vectra ...
I think them Porsche GT3's aren't too quick either,
