Subject: Urgent help needed Wed 26 Jun - 13:06
Had my wheels taken off today for the refurb and one of the nuts is cross threaded on the stud.
Does anyone know where I can get a single stud or do I need a full hub?
Car is now off the road until sorted and need done by the weekend for NBO

I replaced studs on my Blob hubs for exactly the same reason and it seemed pretty straightforward, we knocked the offending studs out then used a few nuts on the front side to pull the new one through. But if you dont know what you are doing you best off putting the car in the hands of someone who does, like Drew, Kindon, Finn etc. I paid about £4 per stud IIRC from Import Car Parts.

I know how to do them now ive looked, and I also work in a main dealer with plenty of mechanics who will do it, just need to know where to get the stud asap
Thought someone might have had one laying around but if not ill get one tomorrow from import car parts. Thanks

Michael, I might have some left in the garage. I remember seeing them a while back and thinking WTF. I'll have a look tonight for you if thats any good.

Ill try and get a new one 1st mate as it'll be cheaper than the fuel to yours from South Shields.
