hey not sure if this is in the right category sorry if its not, just wondering how realistic chrome spray paint is on plastic i.e my centre consul ?

if you're going to paint the dash then you'll need some fine sand paper to sand it down with cos the paint probably won't stick that well, with it being sprayed with dash shine over the years it will be quite shiny and slippery. And you'll need some plastic primer too before you put the paint on. I don't know about chrome paint , i canlt imagine it looks too much like chrome though, you won't get a mirror finish from a of spray paint.

The glare off the chrome inside the car in sunlight may also be hazardous bud - I think that is a bad idea!

Cheers for the advice guys, and not the dash just the centre want to do something with it just not totally sure on what tbh but think I'm going to get Windows tinted next in cupple of weeks

My mate does the chrome painting down in Kent.....it's not cheap but he's getting good results......interior parts hmmm not for me.....the amount of people I get wanting rid of the chrome is on the rise and has subarus ever suited abit of chrome! Engine bay limited IMO
