Thanks lads, that's the cars first ever machine polish....it was well deserved I think
Lian & John did a fantastic job
Looks amazing mate - the 1st one when it has never been done before is visually stunning, but that is also dependent on the abilty of the person doing the polishing and Lian & John are at the top of their game there - as they said black cars in hot sun is a fecking PITA so double points for that result!
What LSP did they use to finish it off after the machine polish - sealant, wax?

Will have to give that one a try - leaves a glorious glossy finish - I waxed mine after the machine polish so will defo give that a try when it's next due. What product would you recommend for as an LSP for maintenance washes? I am currently using Sonax Xtreme Brilliant Shine Detailer and it is a brilliant product....but I love to try everything!!
Cheers

I tend just to alternate by hand between glare uk on its own or meguires caranuba wax or for even better glassy finish apply glare uk followed by the caranuba wax. Glare is easy to apply and take off just a panel at a time. Lian

Thanks Lian - I'll put that on the list of things to try too! Not brave enough to machine polish myself yet as I have had the car almost fully resprayed and I don't want to balls it up , but I love the therapy of the cleaning - keeps me out of trouble!
Thanks for the advice - really appreciate it

Think I need to put that on my list of things to buy also, it did seem to go on and come off really easily even in the direct sunlight. I'm a bit like you Mario I do like to try almost everything when it comes to cleaning the car

I know mate -my garage is full of stuff I've bought, tried and then left there! I usually end up giving it away! I've never tried a sealant before so will be interesting to compare as I have only ever used a good wax to finish off.
