Subject: Hawkeye - Reverse light Sat 16 Nov - 23:39
Is there only 1 reverse light on a Hawkeye STI? Mine is bloody useless and I can see fook all when reversing. My wife's Volvo reversing lights are like having headlights on the rear in comparison! I have to reverse through my gate at night and I can't even see the gate posts it is that poor.
Can this be rectified with bigger/stronger bulb?

Take gate post down, less chance of hitting it. But I know what you mean mines terrible too.

LOL - the trees would need to come down too - they are behind the gate posts

Thinking bout it, you've got smoked rear clusters........ Best take it all down. Just to be safe.

Get a jdm tail light and do away with the fog light in the cluster, having 2 reverse lights instead. Thats what my mate has done on his and i suggested wiring up the spoiler 'brake' light as the fog light to remain MOT friendly

I need a decent but sensibly priced PIR light too, it's dark and the 2 x females in my house are scared of the dark.
