New wheel fitted hit !

Just fitted Rota 18 et 23 9.5 j with 255 35 18

The front wheels soon as you turn hit the bottom skirt and idears ?

Car not low and sitting on d2 coilovers

Too wide

Tyres

I thou the same but was told would fit

To Bigga dia, remember early classics started there life with 15&16" rims your 3"'s bigger

You Need to run a bit of stretch. 235 35 18 will help..

Are these the ones you bought from Revolution ?. If so surely if they said they would fit, & don't, I'm sure they will sort it out for you.

one tool required to solve the problem its called a grinder    

225 or 235 revolution told me when i looked into it.

Gary has the wider arches tho so he needs fatter tyres

I was going to Abw my arches and thats what revolution told me. Cant member blokes name who i spoke to now.

That was my 1st thought but they'll not fit ours he's got 100 pcd hasn't he?

Sure Rotas have both 100 & 114 pdc's. Duel fitment, might be wrong though.
Can run upto 265 35 18 on a 9.5 inch rim on the hatch with out arch rolling .

Revolution said 255 would be fine iv rang going sort them next week look nice on scooby thou

Mate I thou the same but that what was told to get so I did any why all sorted iv rang up going swap them over next week mate which one 225 or 235 ?

Looks sweet though, remember when you push the wheel out from the hub and keep the same pivot point the turning circumference becomes larger, to keep the wheels you need to reduce the tyre size or remove material from the point of contact, is it catching much?

You could also have the front wheels machined to reduce the offset if you have clearance at the strut?
This will reduce the circumference pulling the wheel away from the arch but won't interfere with the rolling radius of the wheel and tyre combo.
It will however reduce the track width.

Does it hit at the front or back of the arch?
