Strange car of mine

I had a new set if gauges fitted prosport ones and a k and n 57i induction kit then a bob rawle remap a week or so ago the boost gauge went daft engine running and driving it reads nothing that minus when stopped engine off it reads 1bar induction kit got fitted noise was great now I can hardly hear it but under acceleration top end if flutters but seems ok when I ease off it also seen sluggish any ideas guys and gals

Sounds to me like the remap is a bit off, the guage is just plug n play so should give you a true reading of whats happening. Either that or the rest of your engine is struggling to keep up. What turbo you running? Have you got a dump valve? Is the actuator jammed?

Yeah got a bailey dump valve had engine rebuild in November/December last year so engine should be ok

Sorry I'm running a vf35 turbo remap was done in bad weather and rush hr traffic

Could be an air leak, make sure the actuator is not stuck and check all vaccum pipes if not take it back to the bloke that remapped it

Yeah it's sounds like a hose has come off or split

Did you get everything fitted before the Remap or have you changed things since getting it mapped

The exhaust was fitted after the remap but seemed to be running funny after the map but before the exhaust change think map needs tweeting but I still think there's somit now right

not yet but you never know   work from the garage on the side of the house but its a descent size had it built a good few years ago now.

Put it to good use mate. Make its money back. Its how you start off. Thinking about doing window tinting but need money for a course.
