| i had h4 kit fitted to my standard lights before i changed them (got set to fit to my new lights when i get the beams set right) and the difference is dramatic, standard bulbs are like trying to see with a dim match hids are much better in my opinion, upto you though, if your using the standard h4 lights i would get the h4-3 bulbs as they have the extra sleeve for main beam that actually works not like the bulbs with just and extra bulb to help pass mot, lke i said upto you bud, my opinion is a yes to hids but oggy has a good point, there are some really good bright bulbs out there, its just down to personal preference lol | |

| I'd go with a HID kit. A mate had some 'brighter' bulbs fitted which just started to melt the wiring and connector plug. | |

| Yeah I left the metal on . Like andy says the police are cracking down on them but they do say they are stamped okay for british roads. But if the police dont like them its a reason for them to pull you | |

| Kit i fitted to my classic are E marked so as long as the beam line up is correct, there should be no grounds for prosecution if pulled by the police. | |

| the metal sleeve has magnets in near the bottom that make the sleeve move to give high/low beam, the extra loom that crad08 is on about is for that function, a bit of a faf on to fit but not that hard and well worth the extra work as to me they are the best variant of the h4 hids out there | |
