Lamco gauge??? 961BCD9E-D2C4-483F-8EE0-8E5C88D0E6B9_zpstba4plmn

These gauges are in my car, volts and boost gauge are fine but the far right gauge doesn't seem to work. I think its a oil temp gauge but SN members say its a air temp gauge!!!!! Which is it? If its oil is the temp sensor attached to the sump plug? If its air is it attached to the maf? I aint keen on them anyhow if I'm honest but cant afford other gauges at the moment.

Mate Can be any air temp or oil temp but more like air temp as was tolded as stand

Stand were volt, boost, and outside temperature the temp sender was down behind the osf indicator. Reads -20C to 50C

Must be freezing in this country then as it never moves from -20 lol. Ill have a look tomorrow as may move them about in centre console so ill trace wire about. Getting rare now so dont really want to part with them but prefer pillar pods or dash mount.

It surely cant be oil temp as oil temp goes to 80-95 degrees C depending on driving so it would be on 50+ constantly (no point)

the only gauge ive seen that goes negative is boost so it could be some sort of air temp gauge

Took all centre console out today, disconnected the lot, 2 wires on the gauge aint connected to anything so looks like I'm looking for wires to connect them to.
I have another console to work on with a clock on the top, I'm going to see if i can get a snug fit for the gauges to sit into.

Like the look of those gauges mate, nice and clean and simple. Mind you I woudnt want to live anywhere that saw ambient temps range from -20 to +50  Shocked Laughing

They out the car now and I'm in 2 minds if i should sell them and go pillar pods. Got no where to put lamco's as they look "crammed in" in the centre and looks tacky.
