bit of help before remap Empty
PostSubject: bit of help before remap   bit of help before remap EmptyFri 2 May - 20:39

ive now got my td05 16g turbo on and my side feed cdf fuel rails and fuel lab fuel pressure regulator

also got an aqua mist atomizer intercooler water spray kit fitted to front mount with an intercooler charge temp gauge fitted in to the hard pipe just after the intercooler on the intake side

ive also got a set of 550 injectors to fit just before map

got fmic
harvey up pipe titanium heat wrapped
bellmouth decat downpipe titanium heatwrapped
3" straight through from decat hks system
k&n induction kit
headers have been ported and polished and titanium heat wrapped
have an sti inlet that has been ported and polished and the throttle body machined exact to the inlet entrance
walbro 255 fuel pump

have got my air fuel ratio gauge ready to be set up

im wanting to know if there is anything else that i could look at before map day to improve potential figures

also would it be advisable to fit my abw arches and wider wheels before or after the map due to posibilities of catching and damaging the car ?

thanks in advance Smile

6 speed conversions are easy to find, around £1450 get you an early 6 speed and all the kit.

If your only running 350bhp you box will be fine it's once you hit 380bhp + on 20g they start to blow up but depends how you drive

My dccd 5 speed box stop me from going any high when it was mapped
As was advised to keep it low to save box

Nice spec stand 6speed go for around £1400 so around 70k on clock buyer selling one
if you want dccd looking at 2k + for full set up

It's cost me £1850 for box and bits
brembo rear callipers and disks £250
then need 6 speed clutch for around £300 mark
Then fitting lol

Get a billet 16/18 and keep it at that, a 20G is healthy but later spool for a road car. If I was doing a road car a billet 16/18 from JMG would be my choice.
