He maps all over Europe mate so sometimes is away for a couple of weeks at a time.

If you have the right email he will get back to you. It may take him a week or so if he is mapping in Europe as stated by Mario, but I've never not had a reply off Bob to any question I have asked via email.

i used the email he provides on his webpage and i got a couple of replys but then he stopped been waiting 2 days for a reply but still nothing

I emailed him weeks ago on that email address and heard nothing back, could possibly be his company email (secretary operated??)
Andyden also had trouble getting in touch with him - on the other hand he could just be really busy
As maca says I emailed bob about 4 times on his bussiness email never got a reply so best ask Andy Kindon, bob is at dlm in darlo not sure if any spaces left there

your better off using his private 1 i did the other day n got a reply within hour n hes in Portugal at min till end of week
