Its not 100% about how shiny it is Dicca. Youve gto a real nice car there in any condition. Just get it shot in and see how you go. Might surprise yourself again.

Haha thanks Kieth, might have a go, c how a feel on the day, after waxing is there anything I can use on the day to give it a bit more bling, but without stripping wax off?

On the day I'll be using a quick detailer spray, providing I havent picked up too much muck on the way down. My own fave is Poorboys QD+ but there are plenty others available from Meguiars, Autoglym etc. I think they all pretty good, just down to personal preference. I'm naturally lazy and the PB stuff goes on and comes off easy.

TBH Mark, it's the old saying, It's not the winning-it's the taking part that counts, and think of the charity that is benefitting, I realised last year, the standard of cars on show is amazing, some of the cars never see daylight till show time, never mind rain or driving to work and back, (and yes I am jealous, wish I had two, one to drive n one as show car) but bang it in and show it off, we all deserve too, due to the hard work we put in to them, good luck fella....
