what decat?

i have a 2.5 wrx 2006 model standard apart from exhaust... i am looking to purchase a de cat down pipe, are the ones on ebay any good or should i be looking for a better one?? my plan was to get a de cat, pannel filter and a remap.

Yeah that will fit, sounds like a good plan you have, it maybe worth fitting a silicone y pipe to the intercooler too, or better still a a hawkeye sti intercooler, also look at fitting a HRC 255lph fuel pump at the same time.

is there anyone local to ashington on here that is handy at fitting/maintaining parts on these? as i am not the most mechanically minded person but would rather someone who knows what they are doing to do work on my car

wheres best place to buy the fuel pump you mentioned?

I think you can go direct to walbra for the 255 be carefull with eBay as there's loads of cheap fakes john there's Andy Kindon in Chester le street

i am pretty green at the minute so all advice is greatly appreciated... my last car like this was a celica st205 gt4 which i got to 330bhp..

so i thought my car had a cat back exhaust but it turns out it just has a aftermarket ninja back box... the decat pipe i have ordered is 3" i now need to buy a straight through center section does this need to be 3£ or is 2.5" ok??

i no this is not listed for a 2006 hawkeye but will this still fit?

You can get the Toyosport system for around the £200 Mark, they sound very nice, not too loud and a good for more power, I have one fitted to my car and love it.

jonny did the up pipe fit ok in that ebay link?? i have ordered the same exhaust but a guy who i asked to fit it for me said he will only fit a harvey up pipe as others don't fit

Andy Forrest recommends exhaust, fuel pump and filter pre remap to get the best gains/power delivery
