I worked till 10 last night cleaning the engine bay, spent a few hours tonight cleaning the inside, starting tomorrow night and going into sat I'll be taking the wheels off, cleaning them and wheel arches, polish and wax wheels, tyre polish. snow foam car, wash and dry, polish wax and detail, polish back box and flaps......then I will finally be ready, lots to do

wouldn't bother with second wash .clay bar bar with the g3 liquid polish or similar then polish and buff off .ive never had any issues doing it that way..save you about an hour aswell...dicca if you wana call over ill give you a hand or im in spenny tmora afternoon

Interior done and engine bay dusted
Just need to take it to carlilse tomorrow to fill it up with petrol as it was march last time it was filled up

Ooh Ooh, weathers looking good, weathers looking. Need to hear all that burbling again, miss the days of head banging inside the bass bin speakers of the Mayfair LoL!!!

think I'm going to need a chinook to get car out of housing estate on sunday morning as the council have decided to put road chippings down   all them horrible little stones chipping my car and covering it in tar!!! not a happy bunny after all my hard work cleaning it too

Got the new splitter n spats fitted tonight n fog covers

The splitter is in black but a difference it makes to the car i reacon ive gained 50 extra bhp

Balbys been and cleaned car for the last two days inside and out its all ready for NBO. Looks like brand new. Here's a couple of pictures with some of the new bits added as well.

Looking well!!!! splitter stands out a nice and the rear of these cars are lurrrvley

One thing I will say, it's a damn site harder cleaning a 16 year old white Type R than it is cleaning a 6 year old black Hawkeye STI. Especially when it looks like it hasn't had a good clean in years. I have to say I am feckin' sick of my life this last 2 days cleaning this mofo...and it still isn't even close to looking good FFS....or I shall re-phrase that to it isn't up to my standard. I have lost more skin off my fingers and blood from my body than I expect from my knee replacement surgery in 3 weeks time  

Pig feckin' sick I am and now it's my turn to go and get myself sandblasted in the power shower - at least that is enjoyable
