| It's not my decision but croft would be 100 times better than the usual place I had a cracking day out there I think everyone did (even those who had a bad day) now is the time to get cracking with this | |

| Was my idea but I don't wanna be the guy to organize it . tobh I think you will get more people attending croft . and they will happily pay a bit more to pay towards hire of the track. I'd much rather stand watching or going round the track . than be stood in a field at lwv . if people like summer madness can do it and people booking the trackdays carnt see what the problem can be . invite a 4wd mobile rolling road etc . think it needs the feelers putting out now to be put into action . think 90% of people Shud agree to shift it to croft at the end of the day it needs to be rebrn croft big one . . If it doesn't have a change or something new brought to the table its going gets dragged down . | |

| Doubt everyone would pass the db limit at croft like but I'm up for anything rather than being plonked in the middle of a field not doing much all day.. | |

| Please also consider that Summer Maddness had a millionaire backer who fronted up the £20,000 it cost to hire Croft out for the day in advance. How is our free to all members NESF going to fund that sort of wedge? Even if we got 100 members (who will be just the usual suspects) @ £25 that is still only £2,500. Even at £100 per car that is still only half way there. Then there is the matter of fundraising on top. A very noble and awesome idea, but time is against us as well and the staff to organise and administer such a huge undertaking just isn't on this forum right now.
If there is someone who wants to champion the cause and lead I am more than happy to help in any way I can and as much as I can.

| I think croft is a great venue & enjoy the different race meets there, (don't forget the xmas stages Dec 28th, all ready a full entry list plus reserves!). So, would it be possible to sort of "tag" onto a race meeting that is already on, so possibly saving on costs? Maybe on the same basis as a stall holder & we could use the "tent/marquee etc" with which to use to judge the entries? This way, we could have our own thing going on whilst there are also races going on to help break the day up. Just a thought & not even sure if it's at all possible. | |

| NBO last year was a complete failure 100% biased towards Cumbrian Scoobs an absolute piss take in more people than just my opinion. We all said that the NBO next year is going to be a non NESF attended event. Lordy has done a great job of creating the NBO and organising it since the very start and as soon as captainjohn took over it was a complete disaster (unless you where a member of Cumbrian Scoobs of course)
Anyway lads as Mario has stated Croft is not going to happen as it costs a shit load of money that we pikey's won't pay.
Teesside has a good track that 22b do time attacks on why can't we ??

Just for the Record I didn`t take over , I helped the team run the NBO as the Chairman of Cumbrian Scoobs. I had no choice at the time and I do not run the NBO , I help the team who had salvaged the NBO from sabotage and did OK in a very short period of time. And I really really don`t know where this Cumbrian Scoobs Bias comes from ?. We had one award winner SID , end of , NESF had more . So wheres the BIas ?. State the facts or show the evidence. Opinion based on hearsay means nothing. Heres the award winners results with the clubs I can remember : Classic Impreza Winner : Ryan France P1 Club ?.Runner Up : Dave Wright P1 LADSBug Eye Impreza Winner : Simon James STi Cumbrian ScoobsRunner Up : Lee "Locky" Hampton STi NESF ?Blob Eye Impreza Winner : Nigel Haggerty STi Club ? Runner Up : Mike Purcell STi Club ?Hawk Eye Impreza Winner : Melanie Hayman STi LADSRunner Up : Rob Lomas RB 320 RB 320Hatch & Saloon 2008 -> Winner : John Jones STi NESF ? Runner Up : David Irving STi AyrshireOther Subaru Models Winner : Judith Hardy BRZ LADS Runner Up : Jim from Mangoletsi New MY2015 STi 340 NBO Test Winner : Lee Heathcock 1997 Catalunya North WalesCAR OF THE SHOW : Winner : Melanie Hayman STi LADSRunner Up : Judith Hardy BRZ LADSWe didn`t even record the clubs on the results so the ones I am definite about are the one solitary CS winner SID and the rest is a best guess using the paperwork I have. Please explain using facts where the Cumbrian Scoobs bias is ?. I can`t see the logic ?. As Mario has pointed out above theres more to it than meets the eye in running a car show. It is however very easy to sit at home and criticise.

| I think Nat has just got his clubs mixed up.doesnt alter the fact that 1club had about a 1/3 of trophies and seem to remember some one fluttering her eyelashes and twerking its fat arse at judges and her car wasn't what I would regard as a trophy car ,compared to others in the circle ....yes it does take some planning and organisation to manage an event .And as for sabotage well that's a problem for "you and the team" to sort ...as for your issues with Lordy again that's one for you and I don't think we need any info on what happened so you can sort your issues out with him. | |

| NBO's always been boring I stopped going years ago. The idea of a track day sounds interesting, I'd be up for that croft would be expensive but what about merging a few clubs together to have a joint day? Teesside had no noise restrictions and I'm sure the track can be booked almost anytime | |
