| Had a play with my brothers mate last night.... :-D Camber bolts received and bought this on Egay for 50p... only bought it because my car hasn't got one so thought it might be an option extra or something... not a clue where it goes or what it does haha any light to shed? Coilovers on Thursday, need to find Mario's post with AK's number on to get booked in ASAP for alignment, new tyres and then off to see Andy F for a proper map with decent cold start. Got an email from him yesterday saying his earliest booking now is 12th Feb and won't be travelling for mapping days any time soon because he's that busy was trying to sort one at Gipa's garage but its now a no go... Think I'll try to get up to him on Feb 14th, have a night in a cabin somewhere with the wife for Valentines - and get the other love of my live remapped....two birds with one stone haha | |

LOL - Painting them was a pain in the hole mate. If you do them then you have to paint the ring first and mask the rest off. Masking just the ring off was a pin in the hole itself. Then you need to leave it until it is completely bone dry and then mask the ring off - another pain in the hole (I am not a patient man!). Then paint the rest of the reflector. It's a pain in the arse just getting the Hawkeye headlights out of the car FFS. Then you put them in the oven to soften the sealant....If you decide you want to do it I have done a load of them so happy to offer advice on the method, oven timings, paints to use, etc |
