WRC FREE iPhone/Android & Blackberry apps

Hot on the heels of the official World Rally Championship apps for Apple and Android smart phones comes a brand new - and completely free - app for BlackBerry devices.

The new app, available for download from BlackBerry App World allows owners of compatible BlackBerry handsets to keep up to date with live results and up-to-the-minute news about the sport from just about anywhere in the world.

In common with the iPhone and Android versions, the World Rally Championship app for BlackBerry features the same comprehensive results information found on wrc.com and, as an official product, is fed by rally data beamed LIVE from the cars and time controls.

This means that as well as stage times, WRC fans can access a massive amount of live data including split times, entry lists, timetables, start lists, retirement lists and penalty tables.

In addition to the live data, BlackBerry users can now keep up to date with news, exclusive videos and live audio commentary during events from the World Rally Radio team.

Also on the app is a wide-ranging selection of background information, including the season calendar, maps, FIA championship standings and facts sheets on teams, drivers and rallies.

Right now the WRC BlackBerry app is compatible with the handsets listed below. Other models will be added as soon as possible. We’ll update the list of compatible handsets in the App section here on wrc.com.
