as above my door warning light is on when doors closed so when arm alarm siren sounds sayin door open checked rear door swithes disconected them even trided earthing them with no joy front ones cant disconect as soilderd at rear so had to lock doors with key but still have warning light on dash showing door open anyone have any ideas of the faultof how i can bypass so can alarm the car ?

could be faulty switch or just gremlins ..my pals mondeooooo just had same prob so he put the hair dryer to them and that sorted them,maybe worth ago

How I understand it is when the door is shut it breaks the connection to ground so the light goes off, have you tried each one with your hand to see if pushing it back further than the door will turn the light off?

could be water in one of the switches grounding it!

disconnecting them should sort it mate.

i have took out rear switches to break circut and light stays on but 2 front switches have no play on wires and are soilderd on rear so cant disconect them Sad should i remove internal plastics and trace wires and snip them and try to break circut ?

You can do but it sounds a bit severe, try drying them out first, also try pressing them in and out loads to see if that works.

i have tried pressing in and out loads on all the doors boot and bonnet and no joy will have to try drying them out befor i go in and snip lol
