There was a thing on the form saying Validation Character - H, just above the emissions bit...
Is this the tax band that the car is in?? The tax has come in at £210 for the 12 months.
I've never knew what the official band for this car was going to be for defo since I bought it, but Parkers put it in a K iirc.
I'm just bamboozled with all this emissions related car tax bo!!ox

Think yourself lucky, that is cheap, hawkeye's after march 06 pay 400 a year I got lucky that mine is just before the cut off date and pay the same as you.

we pay for £400 a year for the tribeca & hatch but the 22b & RB5 both decatted are only £195 - wheres the sense in that

Mines just come through and its Band M which is £435, I hate the government.
My tax renewal has came in and its went up Its now £190. I can't tax the car as the MOT has just run out so I will have to use the post office for to taxt it in a month or so?

I think any car after 05 is subject to the new tax system, so luckly mine is the same as yours Andy i feel for anyone paying the robbing high band tax rate its a joke. Saying that we are all luck not 2 be paying the high band because it wasnt to long ago they were going to back date it to cars registered after 2000, the only thing that sunk them plans was the ressession and high fuel prices, but u neva no that might cum back in after the election

Our wrx is the same band as Iddy's I think I paid about that in January.......Landy is a little older so was £240 I think
