| after having a total nitemare trying t get oil temp gauge to work using remote adaptor (made by lma) basically the pressure gauge will work fine with the remote adaptor but the oil temp wont, am assuming it carnt transfer a true oil temp up the 12" long remote pipe??? cos soon as a put oil temp sensor straight into block it worked spot on anyway anyone tryed these= http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110645904621&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT | |

| them are the ones steve, the simply dont work for oil temp. i ended off putting my oil temp straight into block, theres a screw in plug what comes out, its right under the turbo. and a used the remote kit ( same as one in your link) and fitted where the standard oil pressure sender is, and refit orginal sender and your gauge sender into that remote kit | |

| I wouldn't no where to start mate I was going to take the car to auto electrician to try and sort or take a hammer to them as head is done in lol | |

gis a bell sometime mate, and i will sort it for you (cheap) ne bother am going to try these other adaptors on the next customers car (probably muzz's car) will update this thread once av tryed them mate but if u want them connected the same way a done my own car its not problem | |

| Paul i had the same problem on the black one, turned out, that the OEM sensor was screwed in too far, stopping the oil getting to the aftermarket sensor. | |

| i use the same method probably the most accurate took me three days to do as stripped the brass nut thingy! and alyn didnt have any in!! | |

| just a update on the sensor adaptors. they no good for subaru applications. a no this cost MUZZ a extra £17 on sorting gauges, but to be fair i fitted gauges,a removed dash board and fitted flocked dash,and rewired alarm warning led, and sorted power steering. and even started to fit a FMIC (supplied by muzz) to find it wasnt the correct FMIC for his car. all in all about 12hours work for £55 carnt please everyone can we | |
