after having a total nitemare trying t get oil temp gauge to work using remote adaptor (made by lma)

basically the pressure gauge will work fine with the remote adaptor but the oil temp wont, am assuming it carnt transfer a true oil temp up the 12" long remote pipe???

cos soon as a put oil temp sensor straight into block it worked spot on Question

Hi Finn I used one of the items listed and I am having same problem, the gauge won't pick up the temp when car is moving but once the car is stopped and ticking over the temp gauge work it's doing my head in lol

them are the ones steve, the simply dont work for oil temp.

i ended off putting my oil temp straight into block, theres a screw in plug what comes out, its right under the turbo.

and a used the remote kit ( same as one in your link) and fitted where the standard oil pressure sender is, and refit orginal sender and your gauge sender into that remote kit Wink

Paul i had the same problem on the black one, turned out, that the OEM sensor was screwed in too far, stopping the oil getting to the aftermarket sensor.

I'm using what Steve is using for the pressure sensor under the alternator and one of these screwed into the block where there is normally a blanking bolt nearest to the turbo

just a update on the sensor adaptors.

they no good for subaru applications.

a no this cost MUZZ a extra £17 on sorting gauges, but to be fair i fitted gauges,a removed dash board and fitted flocked dash, and rewired alarm warning led, and sorted power steering. and even started to fit a FMIC (supplied by muzz) to find it wasnt the correct FMIC for his car.

all in all about 12hours work for £55

carnt please everyone can we Evil or Very Mad
