Project Type R goin for more power !!!!!

Most of you will know this car already it was nesf's chief pikey !!

v5 type r it is basicaly a shell on axle stands at the minute

going to be my weekend car , fully forged 2.5 ,wide arched, 6 speed beast

since i bought the shell i havnt touched it just been buying parts for it

took the day off on wednesday to eventualy get it back to a rolling shell and change the full wiring loom from a v5 to a v4 cos i have already got v4 sti heads , v4 apexi power fc ecu and a flocked dash so it should save me a few quid :-)

will start posting pics from wednesday as i go along !

Opened the garage doors this morning to this after a year of hoyin all me old shite in it , up on axlestands no wheels or Hubs :-s

Sorted a few old scrap hubs and wheels to make it rolling

Started ripping the carpets out to find something I couldn't believe FINN actualy left something valuable in the car pmsl

Eventualy got round to ripping the dash out alot easier then I thought

Then it was time to change the wiring harness

dash support bar has to be removed to take the heater matrix out to get to the last bit of wiring harness

new v4 harness ready to go in after removing aftermarket alarm/immobilizer

all went well , will be going back over on saturday to put the loom back in :-)

You got some work on there bud. Wheels are very nice. Similar to the S202 wheels.

Been doing a full days shift on it today got the v4 wiring back in ready for flocked dash

Put the wheels on for trial fit and they look mint realy chuffed with them :-)

Then I started fitting the abw arches , cut the rears out ready to weld in the morning pics to follow

Notice the dent on the passenger side rear arch before I cut it away !

As soon as the arch was cut out it fell right back into place :-)

Gunna have an early start tmorra nd hopefully do a 12 hour shift on it !

YOU USE SPACERS ON THOSE (AWSOME LOOKING WHEELS BY THE WAY) WHEELS I WAS TOLD NOT TO AS IM GOING FOR ABW ARCHES ?? WHAT COLOUR YOU GOING FOR ON THE CAR ??

No spacers here , nd cars staying original colour
