Started with a vibration on clutch bite (thought it mybe thrust bearing), then trouble selecting 1st & reverse (but had same problem with all my jap cars). Now having trouble selecting some gears, clutch seems to slip into 4th when under boost but seems ok in other gears, Also strong smell of burning, and a rattle when driving at at low rmp.

Have no sign of leaks

Oil levels ok

Tested the clutch pulling away on a hill in 2nd and did'nt slip

ANY IDEAS (wondered if oil mybe getting on clutch)

Found a small oil leak which explains smell. Give the car good hard run today, clutch has gone.

Cheers for replies
