| Has anyone heard of these people from Stokesley who map Subarus, one of my mates has just had his Hawkeye remapped.
The way they have done it sounds abit weird to me.

| To be fair I wouldn't trust anyone that maps more than one manufacture of car as they ain't going to have the enthusiasm and knowledge to get the best/safest map out of your car. I have never looked but would I be right in saying other manufactures, Vauxhall etc have there own enthusiastic mappers? | |

| Found a bit more out, they basically have just flashed the ECU with a new generic map which alters the boost and fueling.
They have not checked any AFRs, just flashed the ecu and away you go.
Who has an LM1 or 2 who could check his car for him.

| 1 x cheeky vote for the other Andy, Mr Carr from Teamcarr.net who's mapped my car 3 times now.
He's done a few cars over here now and well worth considering in my humble opinion. He's based in the north west, so better known to the Cumbrian brigade than over here.

I told him to contact either Duncan, Andy or Bob and get a propper job done, but no tried to save himself some money on the map and it could end up costing him a fortune. Theres to many companies out there think they know what there doing and end up costing the customer more money.

| I just wrote in another post recently the phrase "Buy cheap, buy twice".
Its amazing what people will try and save money on when they should know better....and lets face it, any mate of yours should definitely know better if they've taken any time to listen to you.

| My mate has gone back to them and asked what did they use for checking the AFRs, they told him they used a LM1.
Not sure how they have done that as I dont think they mapped it on the road.
