cd player fitting

went to put my cd player in the scoob today.will it buggery fit,its got a flip down detachable front that touches the trim surround,is there any way of easy fitment without butchering the surround ? only had the cd player a few months so dont really want to get rid (it was a present)

mine has a flip down front as well but doesn't touch !

Theres a surround that i havn't fitted as it would foul on the surround !

With out seeing it i wouldn't be able to say for sure mate but if you are through this way i can have a butchers

i left the cd player surround off,if i push the heater control surround on the cd player front wont go on.

still puzzled mate pics !

Ahhh youve taken out the double din and replaced with single din am i right if so the player goes to the top and din pocket on bottom !

Thats how ive done mine and my son in laws is the same.

na mate it had a standard subaru single cd player in,just swapping it for the one i had in my classic.its a combined cd/dvd player.only a small screen though (ripspeed one).

Might need to come out a little further cos some wont fit flush due to clearance seen a couple like that

It doesn't look as good but unless u get one that clears u might have to live with it unless someone else has a solution
