firstly sorry for lack of knoledge in the model terms.

ive just got used the hatchback version of the impreza as subaru have and should be like they always have been in the saloon eg classic,blob eyes and the likes. then they spew this up. someone must have been fired or have started takking drug in the styling end of the company. if they stepped backwards with it all they might get the vote.

also the back lights look alot like the newer bmws well that what it reminded me of. come on subaru grow some balls and go for it new style and original no influencecs from other brands.

Looks like the old Primera, & that was shite as well

i thought they were dropping the impreza name and just using wrx or sti??

IMO they are going the same way as Toyota, who made some great cars. Celica GT4, Supra, AE82 Corolla, Levin etc, all with some great engines. However they changed their marketing strategy and gave up on the sportier models and went for bulk sales on the dreary commuter. Doubt you can find a car in the Toyota range nowadays that you would think 'I really want one of them', maybe the Lexus LFA but thats not badged as Toyota and only available to multi millionaires Rolling Eyes

As always the original is always better than the sequel.

Someone has lost the plot at Subaru - Talks about it being the most fuel efficient Eurobox in its class, sod the fuel efficiency give us the power.

Where are the WRX and STi or Cosworth versions? Let's wait and see what they come up with.

The WRX used to make up 75% of subarus sales (from what i was told). The impreza models became a huge hit through motorsport and known for being a performance car. So what do they do? Make marmite cars, pull out of motorsport and kill whats built the company right up. Theyre going americanised and going for the family markets now but theyve already got the legacy and foz so whats the point?!!! Evil or Very Mad

Exactly - They even said in the video that it's a baby Legacy - what's the point!

I used to work for Subaru when they had the farmers L-Series estates and the Brat pickup's - business was steady.
Then the Impreza was launched and all hell broke loose - was brilliant - I even met Colin McRae when he arrived at the dealership to personally sign some of his McRae special editions - was a wicked time.

I would have one. Especially in that burgandy colour. And if I make it to about 75 and I'm dull as fook, lost the will to live and waiting to die I probibly will........ Laughing

The hatchback looks like a bloody Auris and god knows what the saloon is supposed to be. The words "plot" and "lost" spring to mind.
