| Is the retaner spring, that connects to the slave cylinder still on ?. If it wasn't, that would cause the pedal to stick to the floor. | |

| ive just done a clutch ask drew i got it off him. the car i did it on never had one, its there to hold the fork steady so it doesnt flap about and keeps it from bouncing on slave cylinder[quote] | |

| Had the same problem as Mark on my classic after leaving the spring off, refitted it and never had the problem again, as have loads of other people, the spring is there to apply tension for return, it may steady the fork but its objective it to ensure return.

| Guys i really dont understand whats going on with the replys!!!!!!!!!!
I dont think its a gear problem its the clutch pedal it feels to light and you cant feel the pressure that you feel when u r changing gears am not good with technical issue...
does any one know some 1 that would take a look and fix the car around chester le street area note i cant move the car it would need to go on a truck.

The spring does have to be on :-/ Mine sprung off! And i had to replace it as my pedal would stick to the floor on hard accelleration.

Could try the bolts that hold the pedal box on in the foot well, one of mine came out & the other one became loose at york a few weeks ago, the pedal had very little resistance, & was unable to select any gears with engine running or not. This also happened to Andy Gready down at Santa Pod.
