Subject: engine light again! Sun 10 Jul - 20:56
my engine light came on 3 weeks ago. my psi3 says it was p0139 which was a cat i think.it went off but came back on today. so wot r the options? and money involved?can i just fit a cat bypass pipe? i want 2 increase the power soon so? i have an 04 wrx ppp sl with only an hks air filter as upgrades. also should i stop running it? as i am starting a new job this week and am gonna be using it 70 miles a day? help?

i have just looked the code up and it says it is rear oxygen sensor circuit slow response the faults seem to be with the rear lambar sensor i only know this fault as this was on mine when i fitted a prodrive sports cat has the same problem so i changed the lambar sensor and the problem went away hope this helps

yeah cheers mate already asked that but it went off and came back on. so was told if this happend it must be the rear cat? was thinkin of decat or full system decat? or can it just be a new sensor?

check all connections on the lambar sensor and wires as been known to rub on the underneath of car ive edit my post above i replaced my lamba sensor problem never came back
