Subject: Dashboard bulbs Sun 17 Jul - 14:45
I noticed today that a couple of my bulbs have gone out on the dash ie. Heater fan water temp, I have removed the bulbs but where do I buy replacements any suggestions?

i have some newage ones paid 20 quid for 4 fom sgpetch dont know if they are the same ?

ill take a look now dont know if i can just buy bulbs and use the original housing or they come with the housings on

i know the newage ones have the housing built in mate they just twist to unlock and to lock in place:)

any garage or motor store will sell them but they are a few quid each, i'd go with marks suggestion flea bay all the way

got a box of will see if i can find themthem somewhere, off when i did the knocklink project, these were them
Mark those are different to the ones that are inside the fan switch, The one that i removed looked like it was from a Scalextric it was a little tiny bulb with a plastic bottom that locks into position

Warwick, there the same bulb,You pull the bulb from the holder (plastic bit), then fit the new bulb in its place

Davew557 yes they look more like them. I have managed to source a bulb set for a £10 apparently they are brighter than the original bulbs too . The bulb set consists of all dail bulbs and also direct replacement ones for the heater switches so i dont have to mess about, Finn cheers m8 but i have already paid for the bulbs prior to reading your post and cheers for the help once again Mark

Well i replaced the bulbs before my holiday and was pleased with the green LED type that i bought nice and bright ill upload some pics now
