i would go for vf48 as the heard 20g is very laggy on the 2ltr i wouldnt push the wrx past 350 bhp on the wrx internals you should see that easy with vf48 i had the vf35 and that made 358 bhp and 340 ft lb

if money wasnt involved it would be a 20G for me
yes vf48 will make good power, but a good 20G all day for me
liams car is the same as yours and its been spot on, clutch started slipping , which a told him it would evently.
and my advice is to stay with the TMIC.
a sti one or big aps one

Problem with the TD05 20G is you lose the ability to drive and any common sense you ever had.......
VF43/48 on mine and me bros Blobeyes are excellent, very driveable and plenty of go. Just get the headers ported to help with spool up.
Have you looked at doing a twin scroll conversion? (Turbo, up-pipe, headers, sump etc) Would quite fancy doing that if I was starting over on a WRX. Dunno if this is still for sale but for an idea of price etc - http://bbs.22b.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=34;t=003195 If I'd had the spare cash I would have gone for that to try it!

was looking at the full lot you can get from scooby spares and the like but not sure at what power gains are possible ?
would still need to upgrade injectors and fuel pump so would still be over the 1k mark not including mapping
looking at all options at the mo and just going to have to wait and see how much i can squirrel away from her indoors
And only away for 6 weeks so not too much extra to earn but at least itl be something and no fooking couch to pay for now

Mine was shite hands up far too laggy for a 2.0 , but it was a super duper Harvey td05/20g with a 8cm exhaust housing so technically it was a td06 lol not the same as the ones Uz 2 have :-)

if i did go twin scroll would i not have to change the heads ?
or do i have avcs heads already
And is my ecu mappable for a twin scroll setup
and looks like the bhp figs aren't massive but loads of lovely torque and low rpm spin up
