ok does anyone no if an evo's brembo calipers r the same as an sti's? as they are alot cheaper on ebay and alot more of them available? thinkin of upgrading my wrx ones.

No mate, they're not a direct fit. Can be moddified to fit by a good machine shop - something along the lines of mounting faces need machining back and bolt holes elongated a bit. Sure there's a thread on NASOC about it.
Looked into it a few months back, but got some direct fit calipers at a good price so never followed it up

+ 1 with robbo on that one as i have a simillar kit and require new discs but as they are fooking god spunk 2 piece ones they come in at 325 quid for just the disc not the bells
If i was doing it again i would go for the sti brembos as they are just bolt on and if you keep your eyes peeled you should get a full set with pads discs and hoses for around the 400 mark ish maybe less
