| Give the company car back and take a car allowance instead (most companies are trying to bin their car schemes as they are not the benefit they used to be and are costly to run).
Best of both worlds. | |

| I use mine as a second car and understand where you are coming from, I have been in your situation before and really regretted selling it, so much so I went and got another very soon after. I am sure a lot of others on here have been or are in the same boat due the the ever rising fuel costs but you have to think......the reason you work so hard in the first place is so you can afford the better things in life and the scoob is just that. All in my opinion | |

All in my opinion +1 +2 And to add, everyone is saying keep it for the fine weather days, bollox to that, I've got a Fireblade for the fine weather, I went out for a play in the car last night cos it was raining Thats what 4WD is for | |

| I hardly use my car as I'm either working or find it easier to nip out in the van. I would not sell my car as its fun when you come to drive it say after two weeks of constantly driving the van and it puts a little smile on your face, plus I can overtake two cars a time with no effort | |

| My 2p's worth: For a good while now, my STi (before the wife crashed it ) wasn't an everyday car. Since passing my bike test, the bike has been used to get me to and from work from March to mid October. This is simply because with the price of fuel, without the bike, the Scoob would have been sold as there's no way I could have afforded to run it as I would a "normal" car. Judging by the posts here, a lot of people are in a similar boat, the Scooby is a 2nd car or weekend plaything. So in answer to your dilemma, if you can afford to keep it as a 2nd car/weekend toy, keep it, you'll miss it if you sell it (I know I've been missing mine since it was taken away on the back of a truck 2 weeks ago. Mind you, I'm loving almost 50 mpg out of the Suzuki Swift courtesy car, even tho it couldn't blow the skin off a rice pudding ). If not, get rid. Andy. | |

| our scoob is only used as a second car to we have a peugoet partner for the valeting (razzle dazzle machine) and as most of you know john has recently passed his bike test,so we also have a motorbike to john is using the bike to go to work and back so the scoob is being used even less at the moment, but saving even more fuel i often think of places to go just so i can drive it, but john will need to take it to work in the winter months. but i couldnt part with the scoob, i have had a lot of cars and the scoob is the best car i have ever driven we have had ous 2&half years it may be getting on a bit,but i could not bare not looking out in to the garden and seeing it aaaaah! however we have no children and insurance and fuel costs have risen alot, so depends on youre circumstances, if you can afford to keep it and run a company car ,as most who sell up end up returning back to a subaru they have that hold on us lian

| just sell it mate these cars are nowt but a ball ache, worry and expense!!!!! even though they are the above i wouldn't swap it for anything (apart from a mint escort cosworth) mine sits on the drive getting shit on by birds (the flying type not fat ones) most of the time! but when i take it out it reminds me why i dont want to get rid! | |

| One thing I would say, is the car paid for? Both my car and bike were paid for cash and I have use of a company van for to and from work so they only cost me tax, fuel and insurance. If I was paying a loan off for either then I might think different and say sell it | |
